![]() Understandably though many hobbyists prefer DipTrace and/or Eagle which ends up fragmenting our efforts and causing unnecessary rework converting back and forth manually. I like KiCAD and will stick with it regardless because it is Free/Open software and that's important. Direct conversion of KiCAD to/from Eagle would be enormously helpful as well. There is some limited portability between Eagle and KiCAD although not a direct import/export function AFAIK. A portable format between KiCAD and DipTrace would be a dream come true for me at least.
